Monastic Training Opportunities

• August 3-20, 2020 — Exploring Monastic Life at Sravasti Abbey, WA, USA
  This is an intensive 3-week training program, held in August every year. It’s for people thinking about becoming a Buddhist monk or nun, and for newly ordained monastics. 

• October 10, 2020 - September 10, 2021 — Monastic Residency 11-month training at Gampo Abbey, NS, Canada

• Ongoing — Residency at Zen Mountain Monastery, NY, USA
  Zen Mountain Monastery offers 1-month and 1-year residency programs (with option to extend for additional years). While it is the Zen tradition, the monastic training could be very valuable for those willing to explore the Zen tradition for a period of time.
